Q: Subclassing ModelForms to get fields and errors I am subclassing a ModelForm with additional fields and with a better workflow, to be able to create and edit objects of that class in different phases of the project. The form's fields are defined like this: class UserCreationForm(forms.ModelForm): email = forms.EmailField(max_length=75) first_name = forms.CharField(max_length=75) last_name = forms.CharField(max_length=75) I'd like to add more fields to this form and have a custom create_user function, which takes an argument as a field name. Is it possible to create this field dynamically at runtime, using Django forms? E.g.: email = forms.EmailField() def create_user(field_name): # Is it possible to add this field to the form as above? # Or to append it to the list of existing fields? # Or to do something else?
