This puzzle was made and designed by Yuu Asaka, a famous Japanese jigsaw puzzle designer. When Yuu was in his 3rd year in Akita University studying Art, he decided to make a jigsaw puzzle as part of an assignment. He decided to break commonly held assumptions about jigsaw puzzles and created puzzles which forced people to think outside the box. Yuu made his jigsaw puzzles even more challenging by designing every piece to look like a corner piece! His first puzzle, the Jigsaw Puzzle 29, won him an "Honorable Mention" award at the Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition 2018.
